Trade Shows
Trade shows are an excellent method of promotion by small businesses because it is usually pretty inexpensive for small businesses to buy booth space, with the average being $13 per square foot and the typical small booth being 100 feet. Participating in trade shows is usually very successful in promoting your business because you will be able to meet many potential customers in a brief period of time.
It is very common to find small businesses at trade shows. The Trade Show Bureau’s statistics show that of all the firms that exhibited at a business-to-business show, 44% had fewer than 50 employees. A trade show takes only a little effort and some planning.
Trade Show Benefits
Trade shows are extremely powerful because of their short run in a single location and because there will be thousands of potential customers participating. Remember that a lot of shows do not allow you to sell on the show floor, so you will only be able to generate sales leads.
Common Reasons for Exhibiting
You will be able to generate sales leads and sales. You will be able to enhance your image, visibility, and establish a presence in the marketplace. You will be able to personally meet your customers, both current and prospective. You can also introduce new products and services and demonstrate your product, thereby educating your audience. Remember that it is possible to meet all of your potential contacts and customers in the course of one trade show. |
